British rock star searches for lost brotherDriveshaft front man Liam Pace yesterday announced his dedication to the search for any trace of the aeroplane on which his brother, Driveshaft bassist Charlie Pace was travelling when it disappeared last week.
Oceanic flight 815 was headed to LA from Sydney, allegedly changed course halfway through, and has now been missing for four days. Rescue teams are based in Fiji, and are slowly covering select areas of the South Pacific in the hope of finding the plane and any survivors.
Pace has flown out to Fiji and is working hands-on with rescue teams in the hope of finding Charlie. It is understood the bassist was visiting his brother in Sydney, but the reason for his flight to L.A is still the subject of much speculation. Some allege the star was going to Hollywood to break into films; others claim Charlie had a drug habit and was on-route to rehab; there is talk of a new record deal for the ailing Driveshaft; yet others believe Charlie was intending to form a new band in L.A.
